You will find that Corona provides a wide array of curricular opportunities on campus. Through educationally rich opportunities, our students become college and career ready. We offer a variety of academic options for all grade levels. These include: Advanced Placement (AP) courses, honors courses, vocational courses (EVIT), and dual enrollment courses through the Maricopa County Community Colleges. 

Our attendance policies and code of conduct (in accordance with the policies of Tempe Union High School District) ensure a safe learning environment.

Please take a moment each week to look at your student's grades online. You can access online grades from the school website. This valuable tool will assist you in tracking how your student is making progress.

Academic Achievements Since opening in 1977, Corona del Sol has prided itself on providing rigorous and high-quality academic experiences and producing exceptional scholars that go on to do great things.

• Corona has produced more than 100 National Merit Finalists and Semifinalists and National Hispanic Scholars
• Since 2010, Corona has had 13 Flinn Scholars
• Hundreds of AP Scholar Awards

At Corona del Sol, we are proud to say that:

• We have a 95.7 % Graduation Rate - 85% of our Graduates attend higher education institutions
• 91% of Students passed all of their classes
• Our students have over a 90% passing rate on AP Exams
• Over 30% of students are enrolled in Dual Enrollment courses

Corona del Sol is proud to offer:

• 19 Advanced Placement (AP) courses - More than 60 Honors level courses
• More than 50 Dual Enrollment courses - Comprehensive core curriculum and elective choices in Mathematics, English, Social Studies and Science
• Opportunities to learn a second language through Spanish and French
• CTE programs in Engineering, TV Production, Tech Theater, Digital Photography, Business
• Excelling performing and visual arts classes in band, orchestra, theater, choir, art, and ceramics
